I was born and raised in northern Colorado. As a kid, I spent my summers backpacking, camping, fishing, and hunting in the Rocky Mountains. During his teen years, he worked as a ranch hand in Loveland.

I met my wonderful wife Darcy while working in Denver International Airport's Cybersecurity group in 2014. Darcy and I arrived at Silver Spurs Ranch in 2021 to own our weekend property, and we moved there full-time in 2025.
